Job description

Description

Surveyor

At Full Circle Fiber, we believe that great design starts with great data-and that the field is where the real story unfolds. We're looking for a Utility surveyor who thrives in the outdoors, has a sharp eye for detail, and knows how to turn real-world observations into actionable insights that elevate our fiber optic designs and permit packages.

This role is ideal for someone who's equally comfortable collecting data in the field and reviewing construction work with laser focus. You'll be the bridge between design and execution, ensuring that what's built aligns with what was intended-and recommending smart adjustments when it doesn't.

What You'll Do

Pole Survey Experience is a plus

Field Data Collection & Surveying Gather detailed, accurate field data to support best-in-class design and permit documentation. Identify potential build issues before they become problems.

Real-Time Problem Solving Recommend design changes on the fly based on field conditions, environmental constraints, or construction realities. Your insights help us stay proactive and efficient.

Construction Oversight Be present on-site during utility locating, potholing, boring, trenching, plowing, excavation, duct proofing, cable placement, restoration, and clean-up. Monitor contractor activity and ensure work aligns with project specs.

Quality Assurance When assigned as a field inspector, focus intently on the quality of work and how closely it matches the original design intent. Document discrepancies and ensure corrective actions are taken.

Reporting & Coordination Provide clear, timely updates to the client's project manager. Flag any issues, delays, or obstacles that could impact construction timelines.

Office-Based Support Depending on the project, assist with office-based tasks including data processing, documentation review, and coordination with design teams.

What You Bring

Ability to meet background check and pass drug screening

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Strong computer and technical literacy

Authorization to work in the U.S.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Self-motivation and accountability in independent field work

Telecom experience required

Passion for learning and adapting in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions

In the field, must adhere to Contractors Safety Requirements and have proper Personal Protective Equipment that is provided by the Company.

In office - Kent, WA
