Job description

Starting Wage: $18.34 hour
The Promotions Representative will execute casino promotions and assist with a variety of marketing events and initiatives to increase business and customer loyalty while promoting the Three Rivers Casino Resort brand.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Executes or assists with casino promotions, including jackpot winner announcements.
  • Sends out end of shift promotions reports on days worked.
  • Walks casino floor and table games area explaining the benefits of the Players Club and signing up new members.
  • Provides marketing support at events, tournaments and entertainment.
  • Covers shifts for Events Team Members due to PTO, staff shortages, or vacations, performing job responsibilities as needed.
  • Proofs all gaming rules.
  • Assists with promotion setup within IGT/SCA.
  • May be called on to oversee Event TM's during promotions, gifting or events to ensure the quality of services and implementation of the promotion.
  • Promotes the highest degree of quality customer service to Team Members and guests.
  • Enthusiastically engages casino guests to drive high levels of participation in promotions.
  • Explains Players Club benefits, property amenities & marketing programs to our guests.
  • Other duties as directed by management.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ELIGIBILITY
  • Minimum age requirement for this position is 21 years old.
  • 1-year experience in marketing/promotions or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • General understanding of computer programs, including all windows applications required.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and be insurable by TRCR's insurance agency.
  • Must have strong communication, guest relations, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.
  • Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
  • Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
  • Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed.
