Job Summary:
AlphaGraphics Carmel is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Outside Sales Representative to grow our promotional products business while supporting our print and signage offerings. This is a salaried position ($42,000 base plus uncapped
commission) with primary responsibility for prospecting, developing, and closing new promotional products business, and secondary responsibility for cross-selling print and signage products and services. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of
outside sales experience, thrives on building relationships face-to-face, and is excited to represent a trusted local brand across Hamilton, Marion, and Boone counties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prospect and develop new business throughout Hamilton, Marion, and Boone counties, with a primary focus on promotional products and a secondary focus on print, signage, and marketing solutions.
• Generate new leads through in-person visits, cold calling, networking, referrals, and community involvement.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline from initial contact through close, using company CRM tools to track activity and
forecast results.
• Conduct client needs assessments and recommend the right mix of promotional products, print, and signage to help clients achieve their marketing goals.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and product samples to prospective and existing clients.
• Partner with our design and production team to ensure every project is delivered on time, on brand, and on budget.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts to drive repeat business, upsells, and referrals.
• Stay current on promotional product trends, suppliers, and industry best practices (PPAI/ASI resources).
• Represent AlphaGraphics Carmel at local networking events, trade shows, chamber functions, and community activities.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Qualifications:
•  Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience required; experience selling promotional products, print, or signage strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of prospecting, pipeline management, and closing new business.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel daily throughout the assigned territory.
• Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and general business technology.
• Familiarity with promotional products distributors and suppliers (e.g., PPAI, ASI) is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
Compensation & Schedule:
• Salaried position: $42,000 base salary plus uncapped commission.
• Full-time schedule, Monday–Friday, aligned with our store hours of 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., with flexibility for client
meetings and events.
