Title: Clerk Typist
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Classification: Educational Support Personnel
Immediate Supervisor: Building Principal

Job Summary: This position is responsible for performing routine clerical duties and providing customer service to support the smooth operation of the building. May need to greet and attend to the needs of visitors, staff, parents and students as needed.

Job Duties:
  1. Composes, types and edits correspondence as directed.
  2. Maintains accurate records and prepares reports as requested.
  3. Greets and attends to the needs of visitors, staff, parents and/or students as necessary.
  4. Operates office equipment as needed.
  5. Answers the telephone and assists callers accurately and efficiently.
  6. Prepares outgoing mail; sorts and distributes incoming mail.
  7. Sets up meetings and schedules facilities as directed.
  8. Assists department secretary as directed.
  9. Performs other duties as may be assigned.

Terms of Employment: 188-day contract per Board policy and administrative guidelines.
