Sr. Project Coordinator

Job Description Summary

Position Summary:
The Sr. Project Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of minor real estate projects, including tenant improvements, capital improvements, building or site repairs for properties, or other applicable client project work. This role will execute service/ad hoc work independently and provide project management support to Project Managers or above for designated projects.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Manages the service/ad hoc program, collaborating with business program coordinators, regional/site contacts and relevant vendors/contractors to complete work effectively and efficiently.
  • Read and understand documents defining projects, including but not limited to agreements, leases, work letters, project charters, budgets, schedules, drawings and meeting minutes.
  • Process and maintain project related documentation, such as agreements, contracts, purchase orders, and work authorizations.
  • Assists with project administration deliverables, including reviewing and/or preparing requisitions, status reports, change orders, payment applications, and other invoices associated with the project.
  • Assists in administration of project management platform and associated tools, which could include project record setup, vendor/contractor setup, and cost report.
  • Support project management team responsibilities to identify requirements, estimate costs, prepare schedules, and coordinate completion of required work.
  • Participate in maintaining orderly project records and data repository.
  • May assist in project close-out procedures.
  • Perform related assignments, as required, in the daily operation of the team.
Education/Experience/Training:
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a discipline related to Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration or similar field preferred.
  • Minimum one year of related experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and administrative support skills with understanding of project management business and high attention to detail.
  • Able to develop client relationships, client management and consultation skills.
  • Basic understanding of accounting/budgeting principles.
  • Skilled in oral and written communication.
  • Strong software competency, able to learn new systems and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
