Project Architect / Job Captain

Minneapolis, MN | Direct Hire | $90k- $120k | On-site

Konik has partnered with an architectural, planning, and engineering firm seeking a Project Architect for K-12 educational, civic, and faith-based project work. In this role, the Project Architect/Job Captain will oversee projects from design through completion.

Project Architect / Job Captain Responsibilities:

  • Client relations throughout the project alongside a Project Manager
  • Design of educational, civic, and faith-based project work
  • Development and coordination of project documents through all phases of a project, from design through construction documents
  • Lead and provide guidance to architectural staff throughout projects
  • Coordinates design activity between the client, departments, and consultants.
  • Monitors project progress for all disciplines as to the development of the design of the project

Project Architect / Job Captain Qualifications:

  • Master's or Bachelor's of Architecture
  • Registered Architect or the ability to become licensed
  • 7+ years of experience working on similar projects.
  • Adept at design modeling and drafting with Revit
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of building codes, design, and construction
  • Previous experience working on educational projects is ideal
