The successful candidate will establish departmental priorities, oversee financial performance, and serve as a senior technical representative in both internal and client-facing environments - sitting at the intersection of technology licensing, project development advisory, engineering economics, and people leadership.

Responsibilities

Techno-Economics, Financial Modelling & Project Economics

  • Own and continuously improve Eavor's suite of techno-economic models, ensuring they reflect current engineering assumptions, market inputs, and technology performance parameters - including governing the standardization of inputs and maintaining a controlled assumptions register across all partner projects
  • Lead the evaluation of multiple development scenarios for partner projects including sensitivity analysis, risk-adjusted economics, and scenario modelling across a range of project structures, equity arrangements, and debt financing frameworks
  • Translate complex technical and economic data into clear, compelling narratives that support partner investment decisions, project approvals, and financing discussions

Proposal Writing & Cost Estimating

  • Lead the preparation of high-quality technical proposals, technology scoping packages, and cost estimates - building and maintaining a proposal library, cost benchmarking database, and estimating tools that enable the team to efficiently and consistently deliver on future requests
  • Direct the assembly and quality review of all partner-facing technical deliverables, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and fit for use in partner-led bid, permit, and approval processes
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development and Commercial teams to respond to partner RFPs, scoping requests, and technology evaluation inquiries on a global basis

Team Leadership

  • Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing team of Project Managers and Project Engineers - managing capacity, workload allocation, and performance expectations while fostering a collaborative, high-accountability culture
  • Own the department budget and contribute to annual business planning cycles - managing expenses, developing forward-looking resource and pipeline forecasts, and maintaining KPIs and performance metrics
  • Serve as a senior technical and commercial voice in cross-functional leadership discussions, contributing to licensing strategy, partner prioritization, and business development planning

Qualifications
