Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining PMO governance, program management standards, and project delivery frameworks across strategic initiatives. This role drives consistent execution, stakeholder alignment, portfolio reporting, risk management, and governance practices to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with organizational objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
PMO Governance & Structure
Establish and maintain PMO governance frameworks, standards, methodologies, and operating procedures.
Define project lifecycle processes, stage-gate reviews, and decision-making protocols.
Ensure consistent adoption of project management best practices across all initiatives.
Develop and maintain PMO templates, tools, documentation standards, and reporting frameworks.
Program & Project Management
Lead complex cross-functional programs and projects from initiation through delivery.
Develop integrated project plans, schedules, resource plans, budgets, and milestones.
Monitor project performance against scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, dependencies, and critical decisions.
Facilitate alignment across business, technology, operations, and vendor teams.
Portfolio Management & Reporting
Consolidate and manage project portfolio reporting and executive dashboards.
Establish KPIs, success metrics, and health indicators for projects and programs.
Prepare governance materials for executive leadership, steering committees, and key stakeholders.
Analyze portfolio performance and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Ensure transparency through consistent status reporting and communication.
Continuous Improvement
Drive maturity of PMO processes, governance, and delivery practices.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and project execution.

Mentor project coordinators and junior project managers.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Project Management, or related field.
5-10+ years of project or program management experience.
Experience establishing PMO governance frameworks and project delivery standards.
Experience managing enterprise-wide, cross-functional initiatives.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or Planview.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred
PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification.
Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Experience with portfolio management and executive reporting.
Experience leading ERP, Oracle Cloud, digital transformation, or enterprise technology programs.
