Job Summary:
Leads and delivers Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People (SQCDP) performance for Production Manager - Planning & PMO across PECNA Operations. Expected to serve as a leader who sets clear expectations, holds people accountable, removes barriers, and inspects what you expect with courtesy and respect. Ensures end-to-end supply chain value-stream accountability by collaborating upstream and downstream to maintain proper inventory control levels and healthy WIP. Personal Safety is imperative and the mandate of Quality is the foundation of everything we do-neither will be compromised under any circumstances.
Essential Duties:
Functional Leadership & Operations:
  • Coordinates production planning with Supply Chain to translate ERP plans into an executable shop-floor plan across operations departments.
  • Ensures plans are visible, understood, and executable; manages plan changes and performance reporting discipline.
  • Facilitates escalation of cross-functional constraints and drives follow-up until closure.

Strategic Alignment & Continuous Improvement:
  • Provides embedded PMO support to accelerate delivery of operational priorities (constraint removal, readiness, and stability).
  • Tracks milestones, dependencies, risks, and decision needs; ensures governance triggers are used when schedules slip.

Team Development & Knowledge Sharing:
  • Reinforces expectation-setting, accountability, and disciplined follow-up through standard work and cadence.
  • Develops planners and coordinators on data discipline, communication, and project execution fundamentals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Partners with production, maintenance, engineering, and quality to align readiness, SOP updates, and handover requirements.
  • Ensures upstream/downstream communication of constraints to protect inventory/WIP and delivery.

Quality, Safety, Compliance, & Risk Management:
  • Ensures all planning and project decisions maintain non-negotiable standards for Personal Safety and Quality.
  • Maintains audit-ready documentation and change tracking for projects impacting SOPs and process controls.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Leads planners / PMO coordinators as assigned; owns the issue/action governance system for operational projects and constraints.
  • Maintains the centralized issue/action repository with owners, due dates, and closure evidence.

Travel Requirement:
  • Minimal travel as required for business needs.

Essential Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
  • Ability to manage issue/action systems with accountability and facilitate cross-functional follow-up.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting high-volume operations with frequent plan changes and multi-process dependencies.
