Eaton’s Power Systems division is currently seeking a Planning Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Waukesha, WI Badger Drive facilityThe expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:Position Overview:The Planning Manager will be responsible for internal plant supply chain activities and will drive materials management best practices to achieve the sales and production schedules, meet customer requirements, align plant capacity, optimize the utilization of the workforce, and minimize manufacturing costs by assisting in cycle count, physical inventory processes, and internal materials replenishment strategy to meet inventory DOH and excess & obsolete management targets.In this function you will:• Execute the materials management strategy to support production planning, production scheduling, order fulfilment, material releases, material handling, logistics, and inventory control• Ensure that production activities are scheduled in a manner which will make efficient operations possible and, at the same time, and assure the fulfilment of customer delivery requirements• Engage the production plan of the various materials, parts and subassemblies required by the plant. Drive for resolution of material shortages• Maintain and coordinate activities to ensure vital plant metrics, including but not limited to; customer on-time delivery, backlog, days on hand inventory and past due workorders/schedules• Leverage the annual and monthly operating plans to determine appropriate objectives and performance expectations for the materials management team.• Direct management of the production planners and related SCM activities, including CTB process and a weekly production plan.• Train and educate the planning team on the use of supply chain management techniques, various business systems, varieties of reports and other relatedQualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionMinimum of five (5) years of experience in a Supply Chain Function.Minimum of two (2) years of experience in SAP ECC/MRP planning and/or scheduling modulesExperience in a leadership role.No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of Waukesha, WI will be considered.
