Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Production Planning Intern will collaborate closely with the ERP Demand Planner and Production Planning Manager to reconcile and synchronize project dates within the ERP system. This role involves analyzing project timelines, coordinating with various departments to ensure accurate data entry, and implementing adjustments to align production schedules with project milestones for the efficient manufacturing of data centers and modular cooling units.
 
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with project scheduling, engineering, manufacturing, and accounting teams at TAS to ensure alignment of production plans with project timelines and resource availability.
  • Participate in project team meetings to provide insights and updates on production schedules, resource allocation, and procurement status.
  • Work closely with Scheduling and Document Controls departments to maintain accurate records of production schedules, resource utilization, and document revisions.
  • Monitor and track procurement items against project schedules, coordinating with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
  • Tracking procurement items against project schedules
  • Complete Capstone Project Capstone 
  • Other duties as assigned by TAS
 
JOB SKILLS

EDUCATION & TRAINING
  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in engineering or project management 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

Position is at least 80% to 95% at a desk working with computer. Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.  Performs other physical activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing and performing repetitive motions.  Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate a computer terminal and conduct extensive reading.  The incumbent will be subject to inside environmental conditions.
