Job description

Our client is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support active construction projects with a focus on coordination, documentation, and field support. This role works closely with Project Managers and field teams to help keep projects organized, on schedule, and aligned with contractual requirements. The ideal candidate has early-career construction experience or has recently graduated from a construction-related program.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and administration

  • Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to understand scope and sequencing

  • Assist with RFIs, submittals, change documentation, and progress reporting

  • Coordinate material deliveries and track jobsite logistics

  • Support field teams with reporting, productivity tracking, and workforce onboarding

Requirements

  • 2โ€“3 years of construction experience with a GC or specialty contractor, or a degree in Construction Management or similar

  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; construction software experience a plus

  • Ability to support multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
