Livingston Associates has partnered with a local company who is seeking an Installation Manager to add to their team!
Position Overview:
The Installation Manager manages the day-to-day team of installers (both internal and contractors) who are responsible for installing and servicing all windows, doors, showers and baths for BSL Direct Sales. Being an Installation Manager ensures adherence to contract specifications and established policies and procedures. They're responsible for establishing company targets (KPI's) and objectives, hiring and developing the installation teams, evaluating costs for jobs and services, developing strategic short- and long-term plans and responsible for providing an outstanding customer experience. The Installation Manager is also responsible for schedules and overseeing the success of the installations.
The Installation Manager's responsibilities include ensuring that all project/department milestones/goals are met while adhering to approved budgets. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve performance targets. The Installation Manager has full authority for personnel actions and must have extensive knowledge of the trade and departmental processes across both divisions - windows and doors as well as showers and baths.
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
  • Manage Installation Department
  • Represent and instill the company's core values
  • Create excitement and motivation for your team
  • Support sales staff with technical knowledge and support
  • Experience leading installation teams, subcontractors, scheduling, quality control, customer satisfaction, recruiting, and operational performance preferred
  • Identify any special components and/or processes that will be needed to complete an installation
  • Develop company installation standards
  • Actively engaged in job-site visits to assess and ensure compliance with the company's installation standards
  • Ensuring that all databases are being updated with current project information and communications
  • Responsible to provide detailed scopes of work for all installers
  • Ensuring that all installers have all of the necessary tools, equipment and components required
  • Manage customer expectations
  • Ensure that installer paperwork is submitted in a timely fashion
  • Review and approve all subcontractor billing
  • Responsible for recruitment of in-house and contract installation teams
  • Responsible for successful onboarding of new hires and crews
  • Responsible to write and deliver annual performance reviews
  • Responsible to ensure that all certifications and compliance requirements are met by installation teams
  • Responsible for quality control - measuring and reporting
  • Responsible to maintain all schedules - final measure and installation
  • Develop and maintain scorecards for all installers

Compensation:
  • $75,000-$100,000 annually based on experience
    • Additional performance-based compensation opportunity of up to $20,000 annually based on achievement of departmental goals and KPIs
