Job Summary:
Archbold is a four-hospital health system seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects supporting clinical and business units. The role involves managing project teams, budgets, and timelines while ensuring adherence to project management standards and providing updates to senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Applies industry standard methodologies (i.e., Project Management Institute [PMI]) to ensure adherence to project management standards and requirements and to provide stakeholders with continual reports on project progress and performance.
โ€ข Assists and supports Project Management Office (PMO) employees.
โ€ข Coordinates, plans, supports, and executes enterprise-wide IT projects.
โ€ข Creates project charters and analyzes business cases to validate and clarify issues, justify use of project resources and to anticipate risks.
โ€ข Provide feedback, advice, project updates and encouragement to team members
โ€ข Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness
โ€ข Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed
โ€ข Leadership qualities, such as motivation techniques and conflict-management
โ€ข Computer literacy for productivity and project management tools
โ€ข Conducts project management research and studies trends and developments under the direction of the PMO Director
โ€ข Time management skills, calendar management and goal setting
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Business, Health Information Management, or related health care field from an accredited college or university OR equivalent work experience.
โ€ข Minimum 5 years' experience in information services or equivalent experience in a related field.
Preferred:
