Ameresco has an immediate opportunity for a skilled Assistant Project Manager to support construction projects involving upgrades, renovations, and retrofits for institutional, government, commercial and industrial customer sites based in Moorhead, Minnesota.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Management Team with construction and implementation of energy efficiency, conservation, and renewable technology projects in retail, commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.

  • Provide accurate and timely project status updates and communication to Project Managers.

  • Attend and participate in weekly construction meetings at various project site locations.

  • Organize and maintain project related files, drawings, materials, and correspondence including RFI's, submittals, reports, etc.

  • Assist with issuing bid packages to vendors and subcontractors for pricing and delivery schedules.

  • Prepare spreadsheets, analyze proposals, and conduct project review meetings.

  • Collaborate with internal functions to prepare and maintain all forms of reports, presentations, documentation, and related project material.

  • Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and regulatory safety, standards, practices, and codes.

  • Coordinate project installations with owners, vendors and subcontractors onsite while providing technical support.

  • Foster positive and effective business relationships with all parties.

  • Ability to travel as required. Could be up to 50% depending on project needs.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related engineering discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

  • Exposure to large scale construction projects involving upgrades, renovations, and retrofits involving institutional, government, commercial and industrial customer sites.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to gather, validate, and analyst quantitative data and information.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel and Project.

  • Proficiency in Procore or other PM software.

  • Knowledgably of Primavera P6 Enterprise

  • Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills required.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and tasks.

  • Valid Driver's License issued by state of residence and in good standing is required.

  • OSHA 30 certification at time of hire is preferred.

  • CPR and Blood Born Pathogens Certification at time of hire is preferred.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $58,000 - $85,000 (presented in good faith). In addition to base pay, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, and may be eligible for performance incentives, bonuses, commissions, or equity, depending on the role.

Actual pay will depend on factors such as internal equity, skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. This range supports our commitment to pay transparency and compliance with applicable laws. Compensation may vary by work location, including remote arrangements.
