NAVA Software solutions is looking for a Project Manager - Corporate IT
Details:
Project Manager, Corporate IT
Location: Houston, TX (1 day onsite/week for 1 month then remote)
Duration: 6 months CTH
Description
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering projects that provide exceptional business value to users. The PM will be responsible for managing high visibility projects in a fast-paced environment and will work with all business units to deliver IT services.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, technical leads, developers, business analysts, and third parties/vendors from project scope definition through implementation.
  • Develop Work Breakdown Structure, project plan, communications plan, testing, and implementation with the input from the project team
  • Provide a significant level of competence to project teams by leveraging technical background and strong project management experience to provide clear communications
  • Hold regular meetings with project teams including project kick-off and closeout meetings, set agendas, document, and communicate meeting notes and action items.
  • Present weekly status defining project progress, problems, and solutions.
  • Provides direction and support to the project team
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills

Required Skills:
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and successfully drive projects to meet defined budgets and timelines.
  • Proficient in project management tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
