About the role:
Reporting to US Tech Lead - Markets Technology
The Technology Project Manager - Markets Technology (US) is responsible for coordinating and delivering complex technology workstreams that support large client onboarding, migration, and strategic change initiatives in the US market. The role will be particularly focused on projects where Investran is the core general ledger and accounting platform, and where Aztec must integrate that platform into both the wider Aztec ecosystem and clients' own technology estates.
This includes supporting delivery of onboarding and integration programmes for large and complex clients, including integration with platforms such as Workiva, SharePoint, Anaplan, the Aztec Data Platform, Treasury Management Systems and banking platforms such as FIS Integrity, Snowflake, Databricks, and MuleSoft-enabled APIs and automation.
The role is responsible for structured delivery governance across the full lifecycle from discovery and design through Dev, SIT, UAT and production deployment, ensuring work is delivered in line with client commitments, internal controls, and Aztec's operating model.

Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery and Governance:

  • Manage technology project plans, RAID logs, milestones, dependencies, and status reporting across onboarding, migration, and integration initiatives.
  • Coordinate delivery across internal teams including Application Specialists, Business Analysts, Integration Developers, Reporting & Data teams, Solution Architecture, and operational stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects progress through agreed delivery stages including requirements, design, build, SIT, UAT, cutover, hypercare, and BAU handover.
  • Track project progress against timeline, scope, budget assumptions, and client commitments, escalating risks and blockers appropriately.
Client Onboarding and Integration Programmes:
  • Support delivery of large client onboarding and migration programmes where Investran is the core accounting platform.
  • Coordinate complex workstreams involving:
    • Investran setup and migration
    • Integration to Aztec platforms such as Workiva, Anaplan, Aztec Connect, and the data platform
    • Client ecosystem integration such as GTreasury, FIS Integrity, Snowflake, Databricks, and API/file-based exchanges
  • Ensure that technology workstreams are sequenced realistically alongside operational onboarding plans.
Change Management, Controls and Testing:
  • Support delivery of large client onboarding and migration programmes where Investran is the core accounting platform.
  • Coordinate complex workstreams involving:
  • Investran setup and migration
  • Integration to Aztec platforms such as Workiva, Anaplan, Aztec Connect, and the data platform (Azure DataBricks)
  • Client ecosystem integration such as GTreasury, FIS Integrity, Snowflake, Databricks, and API/file-based exchanges
  • Ensure that technology workstreams are sequenced realistically alongside operational onboarding plans.
Stakeholder and Vendor Coordination:
  • Work closely with Client Facing Teams, Operations, Product, platform owners, vendors, and client stakeholders to maintain clear delivery alignment.
  • Prepare project governance packs, status updates, and decision logs for internal governance and client forums.
  • Support coordination with third-party vendors and delivery partners where external configuration or integration support is required.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Work closely with Client Facing Teams, Operations, Product, platform owners, vendors, and client stakeholders to maintain clear delivery alignment.
  • Prepare project governance packs, status updates, and decision logs for internal governance and client forums.
  • Support coordination with third-party vendors and delivery partners where external configuration or integration support is required.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native integration.
  • Familiarity with security protocols (OAuth, JWT, TLS) and data governance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication: communicates with clarity and confidence at all levels; adapts style and content to the needs of the audience.
  • Strong background in agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, etc.).
  • Understanding of delivery metrics, governance frameworks, and performance management.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Typically 3-5+ years' experience in technology project delivery, onboarding, or implementation roles.
  • Experience in private markets and exposure to Investran strongly preferred.
  • Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • Project management certification desirable but not essential.
