At McGuire Moorman Lambert Hospitality, we strive to create the world's most memorable experiences, blending food, service, and design seamlessly under the leadership of Liz Lambert, Larry McGuire, and Tom Moorman. Our refined hospitality is achieved through storytelling, attention to detail, and exceptional dining and retail experiences. MML is continuously expanding, managing, and owning hotels, such as the Hotel Saint Vincent in New Orleans, with new projects in Texas, Colorado, and California currently under development. We also provide F&B consultation for the Austin Proper Hotel, overseeing three restaurants, in-room dining, and banquets throughout the property. MML owns and operates all its properties and only takes on projects that align with our vision and values.

The Project Manager, Restaurant Systems is responsible for overseeing all core operating systems across MML Hospitality, including Toast, 7shifts, Avero, and additional tools that support restaurant and hotel F&B operations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for system implementations, ongoing management, user support, and training across all MML locations.

The ideal candidate brings strong hospitality operations experience, understands how restaurants function day-to-day, and can translate operational needs into system configurations that improve accuracy, speed, and usability for our teams.

Key Responsibilities
System Ownership & Management

  • Serve as the point person for Toast, 7shifts, Avero, and related systems across the organization.
  • Maintain system configurations, user permissions, menu programming, reporting setup, and operational workflows.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all platforms.
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, HR, and IT consultants to align system setup with business needs.

Implementations & Rollouts

  • Lead all new system implementations and upgrades from planning through go-live.
  • Develop timelines, training plans, testing processes, and post-launch support.
  • Coordinate with IT consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful deployments.
  • Standardize system setups and processes as MML continues to grow and open new locations.

Training & Support

  • Develop and deliver training for leaders, managers, and hourly staff across all restaurant and hotel F&B teams.
  • Create practical guides, reference materials, and quick-start tools to support end-users.
  • Provide day-to-day troubleshooting and user support; escalate technical issues as needed.

Operations Partnership

  • Act as the liaison between operations and IT consultants/vendor support.
  • Understand operational pain points and translate them into system solutions.
  • Support GMs, Chefs, and leadership teams with reporting, scheduling tools, labor management, menu updates, and other system-driven needs.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce errors, and enhance team efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with HR on user provisioning, job codes, and compliance-related system needs.
  • Support Finance and Accounting with POS reporting, revenue accuracy, and system integrations.
  • Work with the Creative and Culinary teams to ensure menu updates are programmed accurately and on time.

Qualifications

  • 3-7+ years of hospitality operations experience required (restaurant or hotel F&B); multi-unit experience strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience using or managing Toast, 7shifts, Avero, or similar restaurant system platforms.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to train and support diverse teams across multiple locations.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with changing priorities.
  • Clear, concise communication style and strong attention to detail.
