YETI is seeking a IT Project and Portfolio Manager to partner with diverse Technology teams across the organization as we implement and operate bestinclass program and project management practices.

This role will lead and deliver large, complex Information Technology initiatives and will be directly accountable for key project and program outcomes. The IT Project and Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing complex, crossfunctional technology programs that span multiple workstreams, systems, and business stakeholders. Operating with a high degree of autonomy and influence, this role translates strategic objectives into executable delivery plans while ensuring alignment with YETI's business priorities.

The ideal candidate is an experienced program leader with strong executivelevel communication skills, disciplined delivery execution, and the ability to drive results in a fastpaced, branddriven environment.

They bring handson experience in at least one area of technical solutioning-such as software development, data lifecycle management, or system administration-enabling effective partnership with engineering and technology teams.

We are looking for a team member with six or more years of experience working within program or project management role. An Agile mindset is essential, along with demonstrated competency in traditional waterfall project management methodologies. The successful candidate will closely partner with Information Technology teams and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of YETI's delivery frameworks, tools, and methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead largescale, multiyear IT programs and highly complex projects involving multiple teams, vendors, and business functions
  • Own endtoend delivery accountability, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans, dependencies, milestones, and critical paths
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and tradeoffs; escalate with clear options and recommendations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior business and technology stakeholders
  • Facilitate executivelevel steering meetings, status reviews, and decision forums
  • Translate business strategy into actionable delivery roadmaps and measurable outcomes
  • Apply and continuously improve YETI's IT PMO delivery frameworks, tools, and governance standards
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise policies related to security, data, architecture, and change management
  • Mentor and coach project managers on best practices, risk management, and stakeholder communication
  • Drive lessonslearned, retrospectives, and delivery maturity improvements
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve transparency, and accelerate time to value

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM field or equivalent experience required
  • 8+ years of experience managing enterprise-level IT projects within a PMO
  • Strong command of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • PMP, Prince2, Six Sigma, or similar certification
  • Experience in Retail, Supply Chain, or Consumer Goods preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP (SAP), CRM (Salesforce), eCommerce (Commerce Cloud) platforms, and integration solutions (Boomi)
  • Experience with project and portfolio management tools (Asana, Jira, Azure DevOps)
  • Familiarity with Organizational Change Management frameworks (Prosci)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • A collaborative mindset and passion for knowledge sharing
  • Based in Austin, TX at our HQ off Southwest Parkway. If you are not local, you must be willing to relocate.
  • We are onsite Monday-Thursday, and remote on Friday.
