Job description

Summary:

We are seeking an individual to oversee commercial window treatment projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role requires a hands-on leader who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable being on site to ensure successful window treatment installations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a positive, team-player mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Execution:

  • Manage multiple window treatment projects simultaneously, from award through final closeout
  • Review contracts, scopes of work, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution
  • Oversee budgets (profit/loss with accounting), schedules, lead times, and change orders
  • Prepare and manage submittals, shop drawings, approvals, and closeout documentation
  • Coordinate with general contractors, owners, designers, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Proficient in Textura, SOVs, Takeoff Software and Billing. 

Installation & Site Coordination:

Be on site the first day of installation to:

  • Coordinate deliveries and installers
  • Ensure materials are received, staged, and organized correctly
  • Confirm site conditions are ready for install
  • Verify installers are set up for success before work begins
  • Serve as the main point of contact during installation
  • Coordinate sequencing with other trades as needed
  • Address field issues promptly and professionally
  • Manage punch lists and final inspections

Organization & Quality Control

  • Ensure all materials, hardware, and documentation are complete and accurate prior to installation
  • Maintain clean, organized project files and jobsite documentation
  • Confirm compliance with ADA requirements, fire codes, and project specifications
  • Ensure final product meets quality standards and client expectations

Leadership & Teamwork

  • Act as a mentor and resource to junior project managers or coordinators
  • Work collaboratively with sales, operations, and field teams
  • Demonstrate a team-player mentality—supporting others when needed and contributing to a positive work environment
  • Represent the company professionally on job sites and in meetings
