Job description

Job Description
Engineering Project Manager
The Richmond Group USA
Wellington, Florida, United States (Hybrid)
We are looking for a Project Manager to own capital projects not just execute them.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced engineer to step into a highly visible role where you'll act as the Owner's Engineer, leading capital expansions and modernization efforts for a large-scale industrial manufacturing operation.
Why This Role Stands Out
  • High visibility with executive leadership
  • Opportunity to lead transformative capital projects
  • Be the decision-maker and influencer, not just a contributor
  • Work in a dynamic environment where no two projects are the same

We're looking for a forward-thinking engineering project leader to partner directly with the Director of Engineering and take charge of high-impact capital improvement projects, from concept through commissioning.
What You'll Own
  • Lead capital expansion projects that drive capacity, efficiency, and long-term growth
  • Act as the Owner's Representative, ensuring projects align with business goals, budgets, and timelines
  • Develop and manage full project lifecycle plans (scope, schedule, cost, quality)
  • Build project scopes, budgets, and execution strategies from the ground up

What You Bring
  • Experience in project engineering or capital project management within industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Strong command of design, procurement, construction, commissioning)
  • Experience working alongside engineering firms and contractors in an owner-rep capacity
  • Ability to translate complex technical and financial data into actionable insights
  • Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited)
  • PMP and/or PE (or on track) is a plus

If you're someone who thrives on ownership, enjoys influencing major projects from the front seat, and wants to leave a lasting impact on a facility's future this is the kind of role that doesn't come around often.
EOE.
