About the Role

The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for driving marketing projects from concept through launch and recap, ensuring every initiative stays organized, on schedule, and moving forward. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing Operations, you'll partner with creative, brand, social, lifecycle, web, and marketing teams to coordinate priorities, manage timelines, and keep campaigns on track across a variety of marketing channels.

Success in this role requires someone who can see both the big picture and the smallest details. You'll proactively identify risks, balance competing priorities, facilitate communication across teams, and create the processes and documentation that help our marketing organization scale. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, bringing clarity to ambiguity, and turning strategy into execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Project & Campaign Management
    • Lead marketing projects from kickoff through launch and post-project recap, ensuring timelines, owners, and priorities stay aligned
    • Build detailed workback schedules, monitor milestones, and proactively identify risks before they impact delivery
    • Keep marketing calendars and project plans up to date as priorities evolve
    • Coordinate cross-functional work across creative, brand, social, lifecycle, web, and content teams
  • Team Coordination & Communication
    • Lead project meetings, prepare agendas, document decisions, and ensure action items are completed
    • Partner with stakeholders to define project scope, clarify priorities, and communicate progress throughout each project
    • Capture and organize creative feedback, ensuring revisions are clear, actionable, and efficiently executed
  • Operational Excellence
    • Build and continuously improve project management processes, workflows, documentation, and standard operating procedures
    • Manage incoming marketing requests, ensuring work is prioritized and routed to the appropriate teams
    • Support resource planning by balancing team capacity, coordinating freelancer support when needed, and planning around workload changes
  • Budget & Project Operations
    • Track marketing project budgets, invoices, and vendor payments while partnering with Finance and Accounting to ensure timely processing
    • Maintain project reporting, dashboards, and documentation within project management platforms such as Asana and Jira
    • Capture project learnings and continuously improve how marketing work is planned and delivered

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of project management experience, preferably within a marketing, creative, or agency environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Asana, Jira, or similar collaborative tools
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and problem-solving
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
  • PMP certification is a plus
