Project ManagerMorrisville, NC -- Hybrid
Our Morrisville, NC client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to oversee project execution, cultivate strong customer relationships, and drive revenue growth through renewals and referrals. This role will serve as the account lead, responsible for managing client projects from inception to completion while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. In addition, the role will involve product management responsibilities, aligning our offerings with customer needs and market trends.
You will own and lead multiple simultaneous projects, leveraging the team’s strengths to foster effective collaboration and deliver solutions that meet project objectives while overseeing all project execution metrics (including scope, budget, schedule, risk assessment & mitigation, change management, and project-level communications). This is a permanent opportunity with a target salary of $120,000 and a great benefits package. The selected candidate will work a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office (one of them always being Monday). For this hybrid opportunity in Morrisville, NC, there are no C2C opportunities.
Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain customer relationships to ensure a high degree of satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. This includes maintaining positive, professional relationships with customers through regular communications to understand their needs, proactively address their concerns, and identify areas for growth and improvement in products or processes.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and assign appropriate resources to each project, track, identify, and mitigate concerns related to project progress, and monitor project quality.
  • Communicate project updates to all relevant stakeholders in a timely manner (including, but not limited to, hosting kickoff and status meetings, completing weekly status reports, and documenting any requested or required changes to project scope, schedule, or cost).
  • Track and manage the project’s scope, schedule, and budget, identifying any potential variances and collaborating with stakeholders to clarify expectations and resolve concerns through a mitigation plan.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation to effectively capture customer needs and manage expectations through the initial Statement of Work and subsequent Change Orders.
  • Interface with 3rd party partners and vendors to facilitate smooth project operations that meet project scope, budget, quality, and schedule requirements.
  • Review and release project deliverables and associated acceptance documents as defined in the Statement of Work or subsequent project Change Orders.
  • Work with the management team to resolve problems and evolve processes and procedures to improve quality and efficiency.

  • Experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated success using a variety of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Evidence of success in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing projects in a consulting or services environment.
