Job Summary

MCOR Government Services (EGS) is seeking a Project Manager (PM)  to provide Facilities Operations Maintenance and support Services to a Government Agency in Research Triangle Park, NC.  The Project Manager (PM) will provide on-site oversite of the requirements of the Contract. This individual is  responsible for the overall management, supervision, and coordination of all tasks, activities, issues, etc. relating to this Contract.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  •  
    • Act as the principal contractor representative to the Government COR and CO for the day-to-day administration of this requirement, to communicate, clarify, and resolve technical issues, and to escalate problems/issues relating to Contractor performance on any issue under this Contract (including Task Orders).                                                   
    • Responsible for the preparation, review, and submission of accurate and timely reports and deliverables required under the Contract; prompt resolution of problems/issues associated with Contract performance; closeout of Task Orders at completion of requirements or at Period of Performance expiration; ensuring staff assigned to the Contract perform work in the most effective and efficient manner; monitoring of Contract and each Task Order to ensure work performed complies with requirements, to include all permitting requirements; ensuring a competent and stable staff is utilized to perform Contract requirements; continually engaging the vendor community to provide a deep subcontractor support base; and maintaining current and accurate documentation of all expenses incurred during Contract performance.

    • Shall be present and available for communications and coordination with the COR during regular Government work hours and shall be available for "on-call" emergency situations which may arise during non-regular work hours.
    Qualifications
    • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience with responsible oversight of maintenance and operation of large or multiple facilities, with highly complex mechanical, electrical and structural requirements, including construction management. 
    • The Project Manager shall have a North Carolina General Contractor's license.
    • It is preferred that the Project Manager possess a degree in Engineering or similar discipline, Professional Engineering (PE) license and/or Project Management Professional (certification).
