Job description

Plumbing Apprentice |$19.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience

Work Schedule:7:00am to 4:00pm | Monday through Friday occasional overtime

Job Duties:

  • Perform tasks including drain clearing, cleaning, rodding, and jetting
  • Handle issues related to water heaters (gas, electric, tankless), sump pumps, ejector pumps, gas lines, bathroom fixtures, low water pressure, lack of hot water, leaking faucets, and pipes, burst pipes, garbage disposal units, and various piping
  • Possess expertise in sewer line maintenance, which encompasses backflow prevention, repair, addressing flooding, clearing clogs, and managing backups
  • Install fixtures and appliances as needed
  • Execute pipe replacement utilizing a range of materials such as galvanized steel, cast iron, copper, PVC, ABS, and PEX
  • Undertake projects involving sewer and drain line replacement
  • Install and upkeep sump pumps
  • Perform sump pump backups

Qualifications:

  • 1 + years experience in residential service plumbing - Desired
  • Enrolled in trade school for plumbing - Desired
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Certificate from Trade School desired
  • Construction, plumbing, or similar industry experience - Desired
  • Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
