2027 Internship - Project Manager - Special Missions

Description

Why This Internship

As an intern with Textron, you'll gain hands-on experience while exploring your interests and building new skills. You'll be supported and challenged to contribute in meaningful ways - working on real projects alongside experienced professionals to prepare for future success.

JOB SUMMARY:

Interns will work directly with the Product/Program Manager and Director for programs in support of the program and aircraft. Support internal and external customers, along with suppliers to improve the overall performance of the product.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Learn how to interface with customers, subcontractors, and supplier counterparts regarding projects daily
  • Assist with the planning and execution of project(s) according to established milestones and schedule to meet contract obligations
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate internally and externally
  • Participate in and provide metrics and briefs to various levels of management as required
  • Assist with the project cost versus budget and be accountable for project profit/loss
  • Produce deliverables as required by the contract
  • Manage risk to projects for company and customer with the support of leadership

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Aviation, Business, Engineering, Marketing or other related field.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer experience required
  • Outstanding computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadline
