Job description

Intapp serves professional firms across legal, accounting, consulting, investment banking, private capital, and real assets - and the work we do for those clients demands content that reflects that depth. The Video Producer on our Creative Services team owns every stage of video production: from the first conversation with a creative director through final delivery, archive, and wrap. You bring equal fluency to a tightly budgeted explainer videos to a large-scale brand campaign, and you know how to keep both on time, on budget, and creatively sharp.

What You Will Do:

Production management

  • Collaborate with the creative director, creative team members and internal stakeholders to set clear project expectations, scope, and schedules from the outset.
  • Build and manage working budgets for every project - overseeing both large-scale productions and smaller, scrappy builds.
  • Own all aspects of production: creative vision support, scheduling, budget management, and internal satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in selection of external vendors, agencies, crew, and editors; negotiate rates and manage relationships with vendors and freelance partners to deliver the best talent and equipment at the right price.
  • Track and monitor financial performance across projects and ensure each one is profitable.
  • Complete purchase orders and SOWs and all required paperwork to keep project information flowing accurately.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing detail on any of them.

Client and team communication

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to communicate project progress at every stage.
  • Champion the creative work internally - find solutions that make great ideas happen within budget.
  • Communicate clearly and thrive under pressure.

Post-production and delivery

  • Apply working knowledge of the post-production process to ensure timely, high-quality delivery - including the workflow between edit, color, audio, and graphics.
  • Shepherd multiple deliverable versions through post without losing sight of the full picture.
  • On project completion, follow archive procedures and close out the financial side of the project cleanly.

Vendor and resource relationships

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with outside film vendors and production resources.
  • Know the roles and responsibilities of every crew member on a production.

What You Will Need:

  • 8+ years of video production experience as a line producer, production manager, or internal brand as a video producer
  • A strong instinct for budgeting and budget management - you can read a wrap book as fluently as a script.
  • Familiarity with union rules (IATSE, SAG, and others) and comfort working both within and around those structures.
  • Deep attention to detail - you notice what others miss and care about how things look at every level.
  • Passion for the creative, paired with the discipline to close out a tidy wrap.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach and a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency.

Nice to have

  • Experience producing in a fast-moving environment and working efficiently in a complex organization
  • Exposure to the full creative development process - from brief through delivery - including familiarity with internal structures and processes.
  • Extensive post-production experience, including overseeing edits with multiple versions and deliverables.
  • International production experience.
  • Four-year degree in fine arts, film, design, or a related discipline - or equivalent professional experience.
