Job description

We are currently looking for a Full Time Grant Support Liaison to join our Grant Support Project Liaison Team B team located at the Ada Area Office working 8:00AM-5:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.
Summary:
The liaison position is designed to aid the directors of federally funded programs. The liaison monitors the award during the life cycle of the grant, depending on need the liaison will take on the following duties: meeting creation, budgeting, research, administrative workflow, questions, time management tracking, agency communication, facilitate inter departmental communications, audits, writing continuing applications or supplements, sub-awarding, training, revisions, no cost extensions, negotiations and technical assistance. The liaisons assign and track tasks for internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance is met and majority of the time exceeded.
Responsibilities:
* Become well-versed in the project and programmatic requirements for grant projects
* Act as a liaison during the life of the project between the project director and other Chickasaw Nation departments (ex. budgeting and support, internal audit, etc.) to ensure continuity of services
* Processes post-award programmatic documents (MOUs, contracts, etc.), ensuring appropriate internal processes are followed and all documents and information are processed and submitted by the deadline
* Work with external funding agencies during the life of the project to collect additional information or provide clarification as needed
* Facilitate the post-award meeting (kickoff meeting) to identify roles and responsibilities of all programmatic activities during the award life-cycle
* Compile post-award programmatic requirements of the project, including reporting timelines and assessment process, ensuring objectives are completed according to the project timeline
* Work with external funding agencies during on-site agency reviews. Act as liaison between CN and agency during on-site agency reviews
* Create project assessment/review schedules, ensuring all are performed and completed on time, as assigned
* Performs internal monitoring assessments to ensure adherence of project's regulations and create a plan of action to correct any findings during the review
* Maintain a log of all activities, including outcomes, focus areas and follow-up deadlines
* Prepare weekly and monthly activity reports and submit in a timely manner
* Identify education and training needs for project directors and grant staff for grant funded programs. Work with training team to facilitate the training if needed
* Advise the project developer of any financial requirements, if know, during the initial proposal process
* Managing and process continuing applications by initiating task meeting assigning objectives and ensuring timeline adherence to meet agency deadline, review or create budgets and review or create project narratives as well as submit any additional forms and documents required by agency
* Work with budgeting and support and internal audit, as needed, to coordinate data sharing and data collection
* Promote a culture of data and information sharing within the Nation
* Performs all other duties as assigned
