Job description

Position Summary

At Sound Associates, we provide audio visual rentals & sales to Broadway theaters and many of the touring houses throughout North America.

The Project Liaison is responsible for department interfacing to ensure accurate and efficient completion of projects. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple functional areas in a fast-paced small business environment.


Duties

  • Interface with Install Department team to facilitate project workflow
  • Respond to and direct incoming telephone calls and/or address client concerns as needed 
  • Create purchase orders for sales and installations
  • Train on proprietary software - RentMaster / SalesMaster
  • Price equipment for sales quotes
  • Miscellaneous projects and duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION

  • 1–3 years of experience in operations, office management, or a related administrative role, preferably in a small business setting
  • Basic computer proficiency, including inventory management software and Excel
  • Some autocad knowledge 
  • Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • High School or equivalent
