Job Description
This role will provide project management for Digital Engineering IT projects supporting X-energy's engineering, manufacturing, and deployment goals. The IT Project Manager will interface with IT project leads, engineering teams, and internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the X-energy IT PMO to facilitate the scoping, planning, and execution of multiple IT projects which may have concurrent timelines. This role requires deep familiarity with Siemens Teamcenter PLM and other engineering systems to effectively bridge technical requirements with business outcomes. The position is responsible for assigned projects and manages process, scope, definition, planning, monitoring, and controlling, and other aspects of a project, using agile methodology
Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business leaders and engineering teams to identify, define, prioritize, develop, and deliver IT projects supporting engineering systems including Teamcenter,
  • NX CAD integration, and Product Lifecycle Management
  • Detail and document project information, including objectives, scope, justification, scheduling, budgeting, communication strategy, risk identification and mitigation, and project activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring
  • Oversee the execution of assigned projects and ensure that assigned resources are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company's standards
  • Plan project management activities, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and allocating and overseeing resources for various deliverables
  • Lead projects involving Teamcenter configuration, integration, migration, and enhancement initiatives
  • Represent assigned projects in planning and status review meetings, document ongoing project activities and status, and communicate project status and issue information to the project management office (PMO) team and project stakeholders
  • Organize and facilitate project planning, project status reviews, retrospectives, and other project-related meetings to ensure alignment, risk mitigation, resource optimization, and stakeholder engagement
  • Interface with procurement teams and vendors (including Siemens and integration partners) on behalf of the assigned projects as required
  • Continuously evaluate projects to ensure they are meeting objectives, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines
  • Manage internal and external project communications, improving transparency, and sharing information
  • Implement practices and procedures that support continuous improvement
  • Identify and resolve problems that interfere with team progress
  • Coordinate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support engineering system deployments, and integrations
  • Support security and compliance requirements for engineering data management systems
  • Support software licensing management needs, as necessary
  • Ensure project visibility and internal coordination of team efforts via Jira and other Atlassian tools
  • Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
  • Execute core tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Job Profile Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited university or college.
  • Four years' additional experience in project management, or three years' professional experience with a PMP certification can be in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • Typically, seven to ten years' experience in IT project management, with recent experience in project scoping, planning, and scheduling, including master plan/milestones, risk management, and costs and benefits estimation.
  • A minimum of five years' experience as an IT project manager, with at least two years' experience managing multiple projects with overlapping project dates.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in quality management, including supporting ISO or other quality management standards.
  • Knowledge of Agile principles, ceremonies, and tools and techniques such as Scrum, Scumban, Kanban, Lean, etc.
  • Experience supporting the development of project and quality management processes.
  • Experience identifying, collecting, and reporting metrics for measuring progress and quality
  • Demonstrated experience in IT design and architecture workshops and reviews.
  • Experience in full Software Delivery Lifecycle from project inception to delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Project and Atlassian suite of tools.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar project management certification
  • Experience with Common Data Environment (CDE) initiatives or ISO 19650 standards
  • Familiarity with nuclear industry regulatory requirements and quality standards
  • Experience managing vendor relationships with Siemens or other major PLM provider

Location: Oak Ridge, TN
Work Site Expectations: 4-5 days in office
Travel Expectations: up to 10%
Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Mon-Fri
Compensation
As required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy, LLC (X-energy) lists the expected compensation range for a publicly advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements (e.g. education/training, experience, skill sets, etc.). Individual candidates who meet the job requirements for the posted position will be offered a salary within this range based on their respective levels of education/training, experience, and other qualifications unique to them. Salary ranges may vary based on the specific office location and region referenced in the posting to take into consideration differences in cost of living and may not be reflective of all regions. Please note that compensation ranges listed for US job postings reflect base salary only and do not include benefits or other incentives.
Offers within the posted salary range are commensurate with the individual's qualifications for the position, along with a view on internal equity, market data, and room for growth. The salary range for this position is:
$140,000- $170,000
