Job description

OPEN MINDS is the premier market intelligence and management consulting firm focused on serving consumers with chronic conditions and complex support needs including mental health, addictions, autism, intellectual/developmental disabilities, long-term support services, social services, children's services, juvenile justice, and corrections health care. OPEN MINDS mission is to provide organizations serving these consumers with the market and management knowledge needed to improve their organizational efficiency and effectiveness. I. Responsibilities of the Senior Associate include: A. Be an expert advisor and consultant to OPEN MINDS clients in a wide range of management areas including, but not limited to strategy development, performance management; financial analysis, market research and service line development; marketing and business development; operations management analysis, staffing management analysis, risk management; mergers and acquisitions, and leadership and government. Must be able to understand business challenges, assess client's current situation, develop strategies and solutions, draft reports, prepare client presentations, present recommendations to the clients, etc. B. Serve as the project manager of client projects - assuring that each project is delivered on time and within budget. Manage the project team and project workplan to ensure efficient, high quality work, and be able to internally communicate project status and problem solve with internal team. C. Manage the project relationships to facilitate a successful project engagement - both with the OPEN MINDS project team and the client's project team. D. Serve as account manager for the client - building and managing relationships with the client's project team and the client's senior executives. Responsible for planning for future client engagements. E. Prepare customer-facing client deliverables for each client project. Serve as primary author of recommendations, incorporating analysis and input from subject matter experts and primary and secondary market research. F. Participate in business development activities including, but not limited to, proposal development and writing - with a focus on developing both new work and additional work with current clients of the practice. G. Prepare articles and other written materials for OPEN MINDS publications - with a focus on developing both new work and additional work with current clients of the practice. H. Prepare and deliver presentations, both virtually and in person, at OPEN MINDS and client educational and training events - with a focus on developing both new work and additional work with current clients of the practice. I. Track own billable hours across multiple projects and track and manage the billable hours of a total project. J. Other duties as assigned.
