Build Something Exceptional. No Exceptions.
Timberline Construction Corporation (TCC) is a full-service construction management firm serving some of the region's most respected institutions, corporations, developers, and life science organizations. Our expertise spans science and technology, corporate, commercial, academic, and multifamily residential markets, delivering complex projects through proactive planning, communication, and execution.
Our mission is simple: Be Exceptional. No Exceptions. It is the standard we hold ourselves to for every client, every project, every day.
As Timberline continues to expand, we are seeking a Project Executive to lead and grow our New Hampshire operation. This is more than a project leadership role-it's an opportunity to become the senior leader in a growing market, build a team, develop client relationships, and help shape the future of our presence in Northern New England.
The Opportunity
The Project Executive will serve as the senior leader for Timberline's New Hampshire office and play a key role in driving growth throughout the region. This individual will be responsible for developing client relationships, supporting business development efforts, building and mentoring a high-performing team, and helping achieve the office's revenue and profitability goals.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to leverage Timberline's established relationships within the life sciences, technology, commercial, and institutional sectors while expanding our presence and reputation throughout New Hampshire and Northern New England.
Essential Functions
Leadership & Business Growth
  • Lead and grow Timberline's New Hampshire office, driving revenue, market expansion, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Develop new business opportunities while leveraging Timberline's established life science, technology, and commercial client relationships.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing project management team.

Client Development & Market Leadership
  • Serve as Timberline's primary representative with clients, architects, engineers, developers, brokers, and industry partners.
  • Lead business development efforts, proposals, interviews, and presentations while fostering long-term client relationships and repeat business.

Project Oversight & Execution
  • Provide executive oversight of multiple projects, ensuring successful delivery, client satisfaction, quality, schedule, budget, and profitability goals.
  • Guide project teams through preconstruction, construction, and closeout while proactively identifying and resolving risks and challenges.
  • Monitor project performance, forecasting, staffing, and financial results to support operational excellence and strong project outcomes.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in commercial construction management, including leadership responsibility for complex projects and project teams.
  • Demonstrated experience managing client relationships, project financial performance, and business development activities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, exercise sound judgment, and make effective business decisions.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and standard business applications.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in life sciences, technology, healthcare, higher education, or other technically complex construction sectors.
  • Existing relationships within the New Hampshire and Northern New England construction market.
  • Prior experience leading a regional office, business unit, or significant operational growth initiative.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Ability to travel regularly to project sites, client meetings, and company offices.
  • Ability to navigate active construction sites safely and comply with all applicable safety requirements.
  • Ability to remain stationary, operate a computer, and communicate effectively in person, virtually, and by telephone.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
