Summary

We are seeking a Project Estimator to join our team at BBC Pump and Equipment Company. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and providing essential support to our Commercial/Industrial sales team with a focus on pumps, boilers, packaged systems, controls and more.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for various projects for HVAC, Plumbing and Process equipment for the commercial market.
  • Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine accurate pricing.
  • Collaborate with market team lead and sales personnel to develop budgets and timelines.
  • Utilize quotation and project management software.
  • Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids.
  • Monitor ongoing projects for cost control and provide updates as necessary.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is desired.
  • Strong understanding of cost control principles and project management practices.
  • Familiarity with software packages Office 365, Salesforce, Prophet 21 and online project takeoff tools is desired.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills required.
