Role Overview
The Senior Project Engineer Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives focused on the design, technical implementation, and operationalization of new business processes. This role bridges technology, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are delivered on time, fully integrated, and aligned with strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate brings strong project leadership skills, a solid understanding of technology implementation, and experience standing up operational processes, governance, and support models.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
  • Own the full lifecycle of large, complex projects-from scoping and requirements through design, development, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
  • Develop and manage project plans, dependencies, critical milestones, risks, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Drive alignment across technical teams, operations, quality, leadership team, and external partners.

Technical Implementation Oversight
  • Translate business requirements into technical implementation plans in collaboration with engineering, operations, and product teams.
  • Ensure system integrations, data flows, and infrastructure needs are clearly defined and validated.
  • Oversee technical design sessions, solutioning workshops, and reviews.
  • Validate that technology solutions meet functional, operational, and compliance requirements.

Process Design & Operational Setup
  • Lead the development of new or improved operational processes, including workflows, roles & responsibilities, controls, and KPIs.
  • Partner with operations teams to establish governance structures, SLAs, and handover-to-operations plans.
  • Coordinate readiness activities including training, documentation, support models, and organizational change.
  • Ensure post-launch monitoring and operational ramp-up for smooth transition to BAU (business-as-usual).

Risk, Compliance & Quality Management
  • Identify project and operational risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Ensure all solutions align with internal standards (security, regulatory, data handling).
  • Drive quality assurance and testing processes including UAT, functional testing, and end-to-end validation.

Stakeholder Management & Communication
  • Serve as the central point of contact for senior leadership, technical stakeholders, and business partners.
  • Provide clear, timely communication on project status, risks, decisions, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings and maintain executive-level reporting.

Qualifications
Required
  • 7-10+ years of experience in project or program management, with proven delivery of complex technical and operational initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise systems, integrations, and data workflows.
  • Experience designing or implementing operational processes, governance models, and service readiness plans.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate concepts between technical and business domains.
  • Expertise with project management methodologies.

Preferred
  • Background in technology operations, or process engineering.
  • Experience in regulated industries, healthcare.
