Join us as Bogie Project Engineer Manager, and you'll be looking at a career-defining role based in St-Bruno (QC), CA.

Responsible for the definition of the mechanical system (bogie) and guarantor of the quality of technical data that comes from the Design Office

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures, with his colleagues and the technical departments, the product technical relevance, from the definition to the industrialization and the performance in revenue service
  • Guarantees project technical management (internal and external relationships with the Costumers, general planning, interfaces, advice from the suppliers and follow-up of allocated budget)
  • Guarantees product contractual technical requirements are met including technical performances, RAMS (Reliability - Maintainability - Availability - Safety items), Fire/smoke and eco-design
  • Ensures the provision, in due time, of the whole input data and of all the data that can have an impact on studies (design, lead time of the different suppliers, deadlines related to production)
  • Ensures and leads design reviews and internal and external definition and validations files
  • Responsible to produce, update and approve definition and justification technical documents
  • Responsible to define and follow-up the technical validation plan of the product and its components (routine test definition, type test, type parts, line test)
  • Responsible to optimize product development cost
  • Can answer tenders

REQUIRED PROFILE:

  • Mechanical Engineer degree or technical experience from 5 to 10 years as bogies industrial designer
