This position exists to strengthen engineering capability through disciplined execution, continuous improvement, and effective use of technology within a 10 + years experience in plastics industry environment.
Key responsibilities include planning and controlling engineering projects; reviewing designs for compliance; approving design changes, specifications, and drawing releases; assigning engineering resources across project phases; coordinating schedules, technical development, testing, and issue resolution; preparing interim and closeout reports; estimating part costs and entering data into MRP; scheduling mold sampling and part layouts for customer approval; supporting quoting with Sales; managing budgets; and coaching and developing engineering staff.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
- 10 + years experience in plastics industry
