Positional Overview
The Imagine Group is recruiting for a Project Engineer / Manager on behalf of our client, a leading global provider of custom engineered bulk material processing and handling solutions with operations that include manufacturing and testing facilities serving diverse industries such as chemicals, food, mining, and energy storage in Tonawanda, NY.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing custom-engineered equipment projects from initial design through manufacturing and final delivery, ensuring alignment with technical specifications, budget, and schedule requirements. You will collaborate closely with engineering, production, procurement, and customers to support design reviews, resolve technical challenges, and drive successful project execution.

- Learn the product line and standards.
- Determine the required design parameters and specific needs for a given project through reading the customer specifications and/or through customer engagement.
- Establish the proper equipment selection, proper filter media, system design and ancillary equipment.
- Generate the proposal to the customer, including scope of work, design conditions, deliverables, pricing, technical and commercial exceptions, schedule, etc.
- Serve as Project Engineer/Project Manager for your proposals that become contracts.
- Provide back-up support to Sales as needed.
- Build relationships with representatives, clients, and prospects.
Skills & Experience
Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive
- Bachelorโs degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering. Candidates with relevant work experience who are in the process of pursuing an Engineering degree will be considered.
- Experience quoting capital equipment, preferably air pollution control equipment.
- Technical competency with the ability to understand industrial equipment and process design.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize cross-functional projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with multiple teams and individuals.
- Dust collection experience is a plus.
