Acoufelt specializes in delivering high-quality soft architectural acoustics solutions tailored to the unique needs of our clients. We work with contractors, ceiling sub-contractors, designers, and architects to provide products that enhance and transform interior workspaces. Our portfolio includes a range of premium soft architectural materials and products designed for commercial projects.
The Project Engineer will assist the operations team to contribute to the successful execution of projects by preparing them for manufacturing and production. The focus will be on translating design intents from shop drawing packages to engineering cut files and production guidelines.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficiency in Rhino 3D is essential.
  • Background in utilizing Grasshopper scripts highly preferred.
  • Strong design engineering skills, particularly relating to digital fabrication.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.

General Qualifications & Education:
  • 1-3 Years of experience of architectural design or engineering experience preferred.

Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Generate engineering cut files and production documents from shop drawing packages.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and other team members to achieve quarterly goals.
  • Occasionally engage with clients or designers to address project-specific requirements.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality and accuracy in all deliverables.

Software: A strong working knowledge of Rhino. Experience with Grasshopper and Bluebeam a plus.
