Overview
    The Project Engineer is an individual contributor responsible for managing all or part of the engineering scope of a CB&I project including the execution of engineering deliverables. The Project Engineer provides leadership and instruction to the engineering and design discipline leads on an assigned project. This position is ultimately responsible for the integrity of the work produced. Work includes the administrative and technical management, schedule, cost, and quantity control. The role directly reports to the Manager of Engineering and routinely interacts with clients and all CB&I functions including project management, procurement, subcontracting, estimating, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Provides direction and coordinates the engineering and design discipline leads on an assigned project.
  • Lead execution of engineering deliverables including the engineering schedule, budget, document controls, and manpower staffing of engineering deliverables.
  • Establishes project procedures to ensure deliverables meet client and established engineering and project requirements.
  • Ensures effective communications among the engineering disciplines.
  • Reviews work with client, management, and functional leads.
  • Identifies problems and coordinates with the engineering team to correct.
  • Proactively identifies and manages change.
  • Maintains and promotes a focus on CB&I's end product whether engineering, fabrication, or construction.
  • May be assigned as the Project Engineering Manager for a project.

Qualifications
  • Accredited BS engineering degree.
  • Professional Engineer certificate of registration, preferred.
  • Has 3+ years of project engineering experience in large industrial projects; 3-5+ years in discipline.

Pay Range
$100,800 - $126,000 USD $/Annually
