JOB SUMMARY
Tekniplex is hiring a Development Engineer for our Eatontown, NJ facility. Responsible for certain aspects of design, testing and manufacturing of assigned projects, subject to review by a higher-level engineer. Ensure all requirements for project and customer requirements are met; this may include design reviews, product testing and analysis, and any documentation or other deliverables. May supervise other engineers in project/engineering activities. Responsible for meeting project deadlines. Pay range for this position is $75,000 to $80,000.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Understand and document customer/project requirements.
  • Define and document product/engineering specifications and other project deliverables.
  • Determine and meet project milestones and deadlines.
  • Track and document the project/product development cycle.
  • Perform and document project and engineering testing.
  • Define and create control documents as required.
  • Participate in defining new manufacturing requirements and methods.
  • Track project/engineering hours as applicable.
  • Support and mentor other engineers as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering or related science field.
  • 2 or more years of experience in a new product development environment, manufacturing environment, or related field.
  • Proficiency with required Computer Aided Design and Engineering tools.
  • Proficiency with typical office software, word processors, spreadsheet, databases, etc.
  • Experience using creo is a plus.
