Project Overview: Oakville GO station provides critical transport infrastructure and requires improvements and modernization to support an increased number of passengers and enhance operational performance of the network. This role ensures that all site activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, schedules, and regulatory requirements. How will you contribute to the team. To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Supervise day-to-day site operations across multiple work fronts, including civil, structural, and rail-related scopes.

Lead and coordinate subcontractors, forepersons, and crews to ensure work is carried out safely and productively. Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with OHSA and rail/transit authority requirements (e.g., Metrolinx). Monitor construction progress and productivity, identifying and resolving issues that may impact schedule or quality

Ensure all work is performed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements. Coordinate with Project Managers, Field Coordinators, and engineers to resolve field issues and constructability challenges. Plan and manage site logistics, including materials, equipment, access, and sequencing within active rail corridors.

Conduct site inspections, track deficiencies, and support QA/QC processes to maintain high standards of workmanship. Review and contribute to look-ahead schedules and daily work plans to support project execution. Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and site documentation.

Participate in coordination meetings with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and client representatives. Support the transition from development/design phase into active construction. Education and Experience: Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience 5-10+ years of progressive site supervision experience on infrastructure or transit projects Experience working on rail/transit projects or within active rail corridors is strongly preferred Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and site operations Proven experience supervising subcontractors and multiple trades in complex environments Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure construction environments Excellent communication and coordination skills across field and office teams Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Solid understanding of drawings, specifications, and construction documentation Salary Range: Between $100,000 - $130,000, depending on experience Think you're the right fit.
