Job description

Requirements:

  • Lead application development teams responsible for enterprise platforms, integrations, and digital solutions, balancing hands-on technical leadership with people and delivery management.
  • As as a technical and escalation point for solution design, architecture decisions, and complex delivery challenges.
  • Partner closely with technology analysts, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data & analytics, and technology/business leaders to translate business priorities into scalable technical solutions.
  • Provide delivery and technical oversight for major platforms including Salesforce, Workday Finance, and enterprise integration services.
  • Drive modern development practices including cloud native design, event driven architectures, DevSecOps, and continuous delivery.
  • Champion the responsible adoption of modern development practices and tools to improve developer productivity, code quality, and delivery predictability.
  • Build, coach, and develop high performing technical teams, growing senior technical capability across administrators, developers and technical leads.
  • Contribute to the application and integration technology roadmap, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Ensure production stability, operational excellence, and effective incident and release management across supported applications.

A great candidate for this position will have:

  • Minimum 7 years progressive IT solution architecture experience application development, and system design.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience delivering complex digital solutions and platforms (Salesforce and Workday) and integration environments.
  • Demonstrated experience transitioning from a technical lead/architecture role into people leadership with strong coaching and mentorship capability.
  • 5+ years in delivering custom Salesforce implementation and enhancements (Sales, Service, Marketing & Community Cloud)
  • 5+ years' experience with JEE and enterprise integration technologies (Java, JDBC, JMS, XML, SOAP, XSD, WSDL, SSL)
  • 5+ years' experience with event streaming, such as Confluent Kafka, Apache Kafka, Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams.
  • 5+ years' experience with Workday Financial Management, including integrations, reporting, data flows and platform extensions.
  • 5+ years' leading agile delivery teams, including architecture and development, system integration, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices across cloud and SaaS platforms.
  • Proven interest and experience to develop teams to safely and effectively use of digital analytics tools, while maintaining security and enterprise standards.
  • 10 years experience working in agile scrum environment, collaborating with product owners and cross functional business stakeholders.
  • Ability to nurture strong business and technical relationships in a fast paced environment utilizing an agile methodology.
  • A forward looking manager that will help with technology road map for the company. Strong listening, negotiation and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills

Location:

  • This position follows a hybrid working policy, requiring two (2) days per week in our office and three (3) days working remotely. In order to assist with onboarding and workplace introductions, new hires will be required to work four (4) days in office per week during their first three (3) months of service. (All remote work must be completed from your home office within the province of Ontario.)
