Project Controls Cost Coordinator, Project & Development Services

Job Description Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Cost Coordinator to support cost management activities on a large capital project. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals beginning their careers in project controls.
The Cost Coordinator will assist in tracking project costs, supporting the collection and creation of project invoices, and helping support the management of financial documentation.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of project billing and invoicing
  • Assist in monitoring project commitments and actual expenditures
  • Help track and validate invoices, purchase orders, and contractor costs
  • Compile and organize cost data for regular project reporting
  • Assist with change management tracking, including the invoicing of approved changes
  • Collaborate with project team members to gather cost-related information
  • Maintain organized and accurate project documentation and records

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • No prior experience required; internships or coursework related to finance, construction, or data analysis is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Willingness to learn project cost control and financial management processes
