Project Coordinator

Location: South Bend, IN
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Salary: $52,000- $62,400

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Customer Service & Project Coordinator to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, coordinating multiple projects, and taking ownership of tasks from start to finish. The right person is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a desire to grow within a company known for long-term employee retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the installation process.
  • Coordinate new telephone and security camera system installations from start to finish.
  • Meet with customers to understand their needs and determine system configuration requirements.
  • Schedule technicians, equipment, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
  • Visit customer sites during installations to assist with coordination and ensure a smooth implementation.
  • Train customers on the operation of their new phone and camera systems before, during, and after installation.
  • Follow up with customers after installation to answer questions, make system adjustments, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Handle incoming customer inquiries by phone and email, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate parts ordering and staging for upcoming installations.
  • Utilize CRM software (Tigerpaw - training provided) to manage customer information and projects.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and update customer records.
  • Work closely with technicians, customer service representatives, and internal departments to ensure exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of customer service, account coordination, project coordination, or related experience preferred.
  • Previous project coordination or light project management experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic functions).
