The Investment Review & Trust Services Project Coordinator is responsible for possessing a foundational understanding of trust and investment principles and thriving in an entrepreneurial environment. The individual will be primarily responsible for conducting formal investment reviews on trust accounts to ensure compliance with investment policy statements and fiduciary standards. Additionally, the individual will provide broad administrative support to the Trust Services team, assisting with reporting, documentation, and operational and other departmental projects.
As an Investment Review & Trust Services Project Coordinator, you will:
  • Trust Investment Reviews: Conduct initial and annual investment reviews for trust accounts to ensure holdings align with governing documents and Investment Policy Statements (IPS).
  • Fiduciary Oversight: Identify and document any account exceptions or deviations from established asset allocations and coordinate with the applicable service team (i.e. Portfolio Managers, Trust Advisors, etc.) to ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with broad operational and administrative tasks, including data entry into trust accounting systems, account maintenance, and supporting the daily administrative needs of the Trust department.
  • Committee Preparation: Prepare and organize reporting for Investment and Trust committees, ensuring all documentation is accurate and archived for audit purposes.
  • System Maintenance: Utilize wealth management platforms to update account attributes, pull data for reviews, and ensure the integrity of client information.
  • Procedure Development: Create and maintain written procedures for investment review workflows and new administrative processes as they are implemented.
  • Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with all wealth management staff to streamline daily workflows, facilitate account updates, and provide cross-departmental project support as needed.
  • Uphold Nicolet's philosophy and policies by maintaining appropriate controls to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, thereby fulfilling legal responsibilities and enhancing the quality of services provided by Nicolet.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of financial services experience.
  • PC, phone system, general office equipment, etc.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Ability to learn and use a variety of software and departmental applications.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow-through on corrective actions.
  • Maintain composure and communicate effectively when under pressure.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and ability learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain organization and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
