Job description

Technical Project Coordinator I

Location: Naperville, IL (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday - Thursday (4x10-hour shifts)

Position Type: Long-Term Contract

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Project Coordinator to support telecommunications and network implementation projects for key clients. This role is responsible for coordinating project activities, tracking deliverables, and ensuring field technicians and project teams remain aligned throughout deployment and cutover activities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track assigned projects to ensure timelines, milestones, and deliverables are completed successfully.
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination between field technicians, project teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Monitor technician arrival, site readiness, and adherence to required processes and procedures.
  • Support network cutover activities by coordinating communication between field technicians and the Network Operations Center (NOC).
  • Review and collect project documentation, including checklists, deliverables, site photos, and status updates.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, supporting approximately 10 technician sites per day.
  • Maintain accurate project records and provide status updates as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in project coordination, project support, or a similar role.
  • Telecom, network administration, or networking experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with dispatching, field service coordination, or technician scheduling is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
