Job description

Job Title: Project Controls Lead Location: Bagdad, Arizona Type: Contract Work Model: Onsite – onsite

Overview The Project Controls Lead is responsible for overseeing planning, cost estimation, budgeting, scheduling, reporting, change management, and risk management activities for mining projects.

Responsibilities • Lead all project controls functions including cost, schedule, risk, and reporting. • Develop and maintain project controls systems and procedures. • Monitor project performance against approved budgets and schedules. • Perform forecasting, variance analysis, and trend reporting. • Support project governance and decision-making processes. • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related field. • 10+ years of project controls experience in mining, EPCM, or major capital projects. • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills. • Proficiency in project controls software and reporting systems.
