Overview
The Project Controls Lead is responsible for overseeing planning, cost estimation, budgeting, scheduling, reporting, change management, and risk management activities for mining projects.
Responsibilities
โ€ข Lead all project controls functions including cost, schedule, risk, and reporting.
โ€ข Develop and maintain project controls systems and procedures.
โ€ข Monitor project performance against approved budgets and schedules.
โ€ข Perform forecasting, variance analysis, and trend reporting.
โ€ข Support project governance and decision-making processes.
โ€ข Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams.
Requirements
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related field.
โ€ข 10+ years of project controls experience in mining, EPCM, or major capital projects.
โ€ข Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
โ€ข Proficiency in project controls software and reporting systems.
