Job Title - Senior Project Controls Support
Location - Washington, DC

Requirements
The SMARTID project control support personnel is responsible for establishing meetings, taking meeting notes, distribution of notes to meeting participants, development of action items, tracking action items to completion and escalating where necessary. Furthermore, the SMARTID administrative assistance may perform badge reconciliation, status reconciliation, matching pictures to Lenel system to confirm accuracy. Further duties may include taking pictures in the field and leading that effort, as well as edit photos using provided software. The SMARTID assistant may further provide support to the SMARTID call in line and assist in the activation of newly issued SMARTID badges.
Essential Functions:
  • Schedule and participate in project meetings, including the creation and distribution of meeting notes for each meeting,
  • Review employee photographs for compliance to Client ID Photo Requirements,
  • Use a tool to zoom, rotate, crop, or adjust brightness, contrast or image quality of the employee photograph to meet the Client requirements,
  • Use the Lenel OnGuard System to complete a variety of tasks, including update of the status of an employee credential,
  • Use other tools that are included in the credentialing process,
  • Provide telephone support for activation of a new employee credential,
  • Complete necessary follow-up on employee questions related to the rebadging project,
  • Handle receipt and destruction of the old credential returned by an employee,
  • Prepare documentation in accordance with defined standards, and
  • Assist the APD-CS Project Manager with completion of various tasks.

Minimum Qualifications
  • An associate degree from an accredited college in a job-related field,
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the completion of similar work,
  • Excellent communications skills,
  • Strong people skills, including demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team or collaborative environment,
  • Ability to review and understand how to use an access control system or similar tool,
  • Ability to coordinate meetings,
  • Ability to prepare written documentation, including meeting notes,
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and aggressive deadlines, and
  • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft (MS) Office software, including MS SharePoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Word.

Preferred Qualification
  • Experience with rolling out large badging project efforts.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
  • Excellent communications and verbal skills to coordinate customer requests.
  • Must have attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Director, project manager, and team members.
  • Interacts well with other disciplines and clients in a manner that builds productive and trusted relationships.
