Location: Washington, D.C. (20201)
100% Onsite Full-Time (Monday to Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
General Experience:
We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager with experience leading large IT initiatives and system implementations. In this role, you'll drive cross-functional collaboration, manage timelines and deliverables, and ensure projects are completed with high quality outcomes. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, experience managing the full project lifecycle, and the ability to navigate various stakeholder needs with confidence.
Duties:
  • Lead and manage multiple development projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with program goals, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Provide comprehensive PMO support across assigned projects, including schedule management, risk tracking, governance, reporting, change control, and quality management.
  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules with defined milestones, dependencies, and delivery dates. Coordinate updates with other schedule owners and integrate into the Program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Assess and communicate program-level impacts resulting from changes in project schedules or priorities.
  • Support all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, user testing, deployment, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between project teams and client stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and clear communication across all efforts.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level status reports, briefings, white papers, and presentations for all levels of government personnel.
  • Respond to urgent and time-sensitive program data calls with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Review technical documentation, project deliverables, and work products to ensure quality and compliance with project standards.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for PMO process improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Facilitate meetings with clients and internal teams; document agendas, meeting minutes, action items, and track follow-ups through completion.
  • Interpret and apply government policies, regulations, and directives relevant to program and project activities.
  • Partner with organizational change management teams to support communications, training, and stakeholder engagement efforts.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical direction to junior project staff as needed.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in program and/or project management.
  • Ability to work 100% onsite during core business hours (Monday to Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Proven experience providing PMO support, including scheduling, risk management, reporting, and governance.
  • Strong knowledge of the project management lifecycle and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and presentations for diverse audiences.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project Professional, and Adobe Acrobat.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Active Public Trust or higher security clearance.
  • Federal consulting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud, Drupal, SharePoint, and/or ServiceNow platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence (BI) tools.
