Position Summary
We are seeking an Associate Utility Design Administrator to support electric and/or gas utility projects with a strong focus on CAD drafting and design work. This role plays a key part in the planning and development of new construction, system improvements, and capital maintenance projects.
The ideal candidate will combine technical drafting expertise with strong coordination skills, helping guide projects from initial concept through completion while ensuring alignment with company standards, regulations, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Drafting & Design (Primary Focus)
  1. Perform CAD-based design work for electric and/or gas utility projects, including new construction, service expansions, and system improvements
  2. Prepare and develop design drawings, layouts, and project documentation
  3. Support the creation of cost estimates and project scopes
Project Coordination & Execution
  1. Assist in managing utility design projects from initiation through completion
  2. Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders, including developers, contractors, engineering firms, and local agencies
  3. Coordinate project requirements and support the companyโ€™s New Business Process
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
  1. Identify customer needs and expectations related to utility design projects
  2. Communicate project updates and requirements to ensure a smooth and positive customer experience
  3. Support improvement of overall customer satisfaction
Contracts & Pre-Construction Support
  1. Prepare and present financial agreements and project-related documentation
