As the Technical Project Manager at SendCutSend, you will oversee technical projects that improve manufacturing processes, support new equipment and facility expansions, launch new services, and drive operational efficiencies. You will coordinate cross functional teams, manage project schedules, budgets, and risks, and ensure projects are successfully executed while supporting the company’s continued growth and innovation. This role requires a highly organized, technically minded professional who thrives in a fast paced manufacturing environment, effectively balances multiple priorities, and keeps stakeholders aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

What you’ll do
  • Lead projects from start to finish, ensuring they’re delivered on time and within budget
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and timelines
  • Monitor project progress, spot potential roadblocks,
  • Coordinate communication across departments, facilitate project meetings, and provide regular project updates to keep stakeholders aligned throughout each project. Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and reports
  • Collaborate with leadership to prioritize projects based on company goals
  • Use project management tools to track and report project performance
  • Engage with vendors and contractors, review vendor quotes and scopes of work, and provide recommendations to stakeholders during project planning.
  • Projects will range from planning the opening of new 150k sqft manufacturing facilities, installation of new equipment, new SendCutSend services, new manufacturing processes, and efforts to increase efficiencies
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred
  • Manufacturing experience is a must
  • 5-7 years of hands-on project management experience
  • Experience managing projects within a manufacturing environment
  • Proven track record of managing projects in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with project management software and productivity tools (e.g. Google Suite, MS Project, MS Office)
  • Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001:2015, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing
  • Ability to juggle projects while prioritizing and meeting deadlines
  • Problem-solving mindset with a knack for finding proactive solutions
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, manufacturing operations, facilities, compliance, and cross functional collaboration with engineering and software teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certification is preferred
  • Experience in permitting with respect to industrial/commercial manufacturing buildings is a plus
  • Experience managing capital projects, equipment installations, facility expansions, or new manufacturing process implementations
  • Experience working with cross functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Facilities, IT, and Product Development
Essential Physical Requirements
  • Ability to move throughout office and manufacturing environments for extended periods
  • Ability to use a computer and other standard office equipment for extended periods
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs while conducting shop floor reviews
  • Ability to visually inspect equipment, materials, and processes to assess quality and safety
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work in environments with noise, moving equipment, temperature variation, and industrial hazards while following safety protocols
Work Environment
  • This role works across office and manufacturing environments and requires regular presence on the shop floor
  • Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) when in manufacturing areas
  • Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and metal materials
  • Occasional travel to company facilities to support projects and product launches
